Run by a group of people who just love to ride and get away for a weekend, these events are open to riders of any make of dirt bike.   Seven tours a year, run monthly from end of March to November, take in fantastic terrain in Victoria's’ North East.

We've featured in MXTV, Australasian Dirt Bike, Trailzone and Trailrider magazines.   Red Rider magazine features a story and photos from each ride.   

The Tracks

The guides spend considerable time pre running each tour, searching for out of the way and seldom ridden tracks.  Access to plenty of private property allows access to many great tracks off limits to the public.  Leaf littered loamy tracks are a specialty of the tours and the quality of the riding is a standout.

Ride tracks you’ve never seen before around Yackandandah, Eskdale, Corryong, Benambra, Tom Groggin, Harrietville, Porepunkah, Bright and Mt Buller.  Rides are changed each year to make them different for return customers. Repeat customers are common with some interstate riders enjoying several tours each year. Numbers are limited on each tour, maximum 20 with some tours less.

The Food

Experienced guides, Parks Vic. accredited, are backed up by a well equipped 4WD and professional catering crew. Most of the meals are chef prepared and some riders boast that they come back just for the food.

Equipment

Guides sport all the equipment, including the latest electronic life saving gadgetry from GME.   UHF radios, EPIRB and a GPS can be found on the guides.   Guides have in - helmet comms and can communicate on the hop to vastly improve safety and efficiency.   We carry fully stocked bum bags and will help you with that flat tyre.   Our well kitted back up 4WD carries plenty of fuel and is equipped with spares we can't carry, like bars, extra tubes and even radiators.

Cost

For 2009, all two day tours are only $350 and three day tours $450, which includes food, accommodation and fuel after the first tank.   Coaching and one day rides will be $100.   

Video and Photos

Video and photographs are burnt to disc and mailed out to customers after each tour.   Monty's getting quite good at DVD production.

Accommodation

Accommodation varies from country hotel, ace ski lodge to ‘glad I bought my swag’.
